Int’l Dep. DG Signs Memorial Book for Late Prime Minister of Ivory Coast
Director general of international affairs of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare and secretary of the two countries joint commission, Ali Hossein Shahrivar, attended Ivory Coast's Embassy in Tehran to sign the memorial book of Amadou Gon Coulibaly, the late prime minister of the that country.
Also, he conveyed the condolences of the Minister of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare and the Iranian Head of the two countries’ joint commission, Mr. Shariatmadari, to the Government and the people of this country in a meeting with the Ambassador of Ivory Coast in Tehran, Mr. Vatara.
Both sides expressed their willingness to develop bilateral cooperation and ties and emphasized the need to hold the joint commission of the two countries and the expert joint meeting in order to follow up mutual agreements.
The ambassador of Ivory Coast mentioned the comprehensive report on areas of cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran presented to the new foreign minister of that country and added: “I try to make arrangements for holding the next economic joint commission of the two countries after presidential election in Abidjan.”
The late prime minister of Ivory Coast became unwell during a weekly cabinet meeting due to heart problem and was taken to a hospital where he passed away.
