For the Holy Month of Ramadan:
Eligible Citizens Receive Credit Card for Free
Minister of cooperatives, labour and social welfare said: During the first stage, people eligible to the benefits of Edalat Share and livelihood subsidies will receive a credit card to purchase their necessities.
The Minister said at the sideline of the Cabinet of Minister’s meeting: Such credit cards are distributed based on the Edalat Shares collateral received online. Thus, credit cards are issued to people to buy what they need from chain stores, interest-free for a period of 5 months.
He further added that there are some 5,000 shopping outlets at present and this number would be increased up to 320,000 outlets in the future. Therefore, people will have a new powerful tool to buy during the Holy Month of Ramadan. This system has the capacity to support 46 million holders of Edalat Shares.
In another part of his remarks, the Minister said: The minimum pension of social security pensioners increased up to 39% this year, apart from pension increase from unification of pensions of the retired happened towards the end of the last Iranian year.
