The Labour and Social Development Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Mr. Bazarbaev met with Iranian Minister of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare, Dr. Rabiei, here in Tehran.
Dr. Rabiei said that this meeting as well as 8 agreements entered into in the course of state visit of the President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan to Iran in the past September are definitely the turning points to the expansion of the two countries bilateral cooperation. The Kyrgyz minister also expressed his pleasure that the visit to Iran would enhance ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran and said, “My country attaches great importance to the relationship with Iran and is willing to develop not only political but also economic and social cooperation”.
The two sides emphasized the need to boost cooperation in entrepreneurship, technical and vocational training, social security, welfare and joint ventures.
Mr. Rabiei enumerated the common features of the two countries in religion and culture and said, “Our countries have always had good relations with each other and exchange of experiences in social protection can further such cooperation”.
The two sides discussed over the capabilities and experiences of their respective countries in labour relations, skill training and social security, and the Iranian Minister, mentioning the rich and valuable knowledge and experience of his country in OSH, labour relation, social security and technical and vocational training, expressed full readiness of his Ministry to share them with the Kyrgyz counterpart.
Dr. Rabiei also shared some information regarding Iranian companies affiliated to pension funds and their economic undertakings in the field of construction, mining, pharmaceuticals and joint ventures that are all ready to transfer their know-how to Kyrgyzstan, and it was agreed that bilateral expert delegations to be exchanged in this regard.
The Kirgiz Minister praised the potentials and capacities of the Islamic Republic of Iran in various fields including development of basic health and rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities and asked for increasing links with his country in this regard.
Mr. Bazarbaev also had some meetings with the officials in technical and vocational centers, social security and state welfare organizations..
