President Rouhani: Iranian Commodities in World Markets

The Iranian President, Dr. Rouhani, in his address to the forum of “Workers and the Future of National Economy” said, “Government makes every effort to facilitate export of Iranian commodities to the markets overseas. We tried to remove the cruel and unfair sanctions imposed to us and to restore the inalienable rights of this nation and change the world mindset from Iranophobia to Iranophilia.”
The president reiterated, “From the very beginning, the present Administration had in mind to import basic needs and materials without unjust turns and twists of sanctions. The Government wants to provide Iranian youth with employment and the workers with job security. These are parts of our electoral promises that we kept.”
“Seeing Iranian goods exported to global markets with no obstacle was one of our ambitions. We wanted cargo ships and freighters load and unload goods at our own ports instead of neighboring countries. We wanted the international insurers to insure Iranian export goods to eliminate the perils for Iranian exporters. We wanted to see the international banks open their doors to us so as to shift from middlemen and exchange agents to reputable banks”, he added.
Recalling the brave endeavor of Iranian nuclear negotiating team during 30 months of talks with the world, Mr. Rouhani said, “This is the time for action by our dear workers and entrepreneurs; so we need to take the second step after BARJAM.”
“Working more, soliciting investment, technology advancement and productivity enhancement are today’s urgent requirements. No matter Iranian capital or foreign capital; there should be capital and technology to create the work environment for Iranian workers. Today, threats turned into opportunities and those who were once afraid of the word “Iran” could be seen racing to overtake one another to reach to approach us”, said Rouhani.
