Covenant Renewal with Goals of Islamic Republic of Iran Founder

According to MoCLSW Public Relations and Information Department, concurrent with the first day of celebrating the Labour Week named “Workers, Imam Komeini and Revolution”, the labour activists and stakeholders attended the shrine of Imam Khomeini and renewed their covenant with the founder of the Revolution.
The Iranian Minister of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare, Dr. Rabiei, who was present at the ceremony, first paid tribute to the martyrs of the revolution at their graveyard; he then met with the burial workers at Behesht-e-Zahra Cemetery where they discussed the problems of this group of workers.
Next, Mr. Rabiei, accompanied by workers and other officials from the Ministry, paid respect to the Late Imam Khomeini, the founder of Islamic Revolution, at his shrine and renewed their covenant with him.
The Labour Week is celebrated every year in Iran from 24th through 30th of April, each day entitled differently: Day 1: “Workers, Imam Khomeini and Revolution”, Day 2: “Work, Health and Social Vitality”, Day 3: “Worker, Retirement and Hope for the Future and Social Security”, Day 4: “Workers, Economy of Resistance: Action and Implementation”, Day 5: “Women, Work and Social Development”, Day 6: “Worker, Skills and Spirituality”.
